Gate-67 (John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newyork) is the place where Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) stays for the movie "The Terminal".

Viktor Navorski (Hanks) arrives in New York as his country breaks into civil war. As a result America closes its doors to Viktor and yet he is unable to return as all flights are cancelled back to his homeland. This leaves Viktor only one place to legally exist – The Terminal. Left in The Terminal, Viktor begins to realise that it has its own ecosystem. He makes friends, becomes a matchmaker, finds a job and helps a stranger. Viktor discovers America in The Terminal…

In this small world the opportunities for warmth and humour are endless. With new friends, Gupta the cleaner (Kumar Pullana) and Enrique the food janitor (Diego Luna, Open Range) and a welcomed presence of Amelia Warren (Catherine Zeta Jones), an airhostess who comes through The Terminal every three weeks, Viktor makes unusual and unexpected relationships.
